Abdominal Imaging Specialists at MILV are specialize in the diseases of gastrointestinal (GI) and genitourinary (GU) systems through additional fellowship training at highly esteem institutions. They are experts in interpreting imaging studies of Abdomen and Pelvis and play pivotal role in the care of patients with abdominopelvic diseases as they work closely with physicians in various specialists through the hospital and provide consultation services.

Radiological studies Abdominal Imaging Specialist perform and / or interpret can be classified under four category, including X-Ray radiography / Fluoroscopy, CT scan, Ultrasound, and MRI.

CT Scan:

The state of the art CT scan studies (could be with and without oral or intravenous contrast depending on the patients’ condition and disease present / suspected) performed at MILV with various protocols include:
